A close-up of my roommate's cat Missy. My roommate took Missy from a home where she was chased and attacked by other cats, and since then she is a little anxious around other cats. Missy is gradually learning that playmates can be fun instead of scary. Her long fur is a mix of a peach, white, gray and brown. Taken July 5, 2012, in Makanda, Ill.
